PS4 Players – Red Dead Redemption 2 Have Something Exclusive for You

Avid fan of the first Red Dead Redemption? You’ll be able to play the next very soon – and Sony decided to make the experience better for you if you play in on PS4.

Sony just announced that they had a deal with publisher Rockstar Games, allowing players to receive “first access to earn select online content” in the game. That might not sound like much of an exclusive benefit, but Sony and Rockstar aren’t actually promising PS4 players exclusive content, but the chance to access something ahead of Xbox One players.

It also looks as if the content will only be specific to Red Dead Redemption 2’s new online multiplayer experience. This could be similar to Destiny, where PS4 players can acquire items like exotic weapons earlier than Xbox One players.

PlayStation Now on Windows PC

Moreover, Sony announced that the PlayStation 3 version of Red Dead Redemption will also be released on PlayStation Now “very soon.” The full-game streaming is currently available on Windows PC, which means that PlayStation Now debut of Red Dead Redemption will mark the first time it’ll be available on PC.

Rockstar chose not to port Red Dead Redemption to PC, much to the dismay of the game’s fans. You may go ahead and buy Harvey Norman’s PS4 games to get your fix of awesome titles while waiting for the release of Read Dead Redemption 2.

Still not in the hype train?

For those who don’t know this game (come on people!) It is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. Red Dead Redemption 2’ vast and atmospheric world provides the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

Seen the trailer yet?

Yes, you heard that right. The game is specially created to take full advantage of PS4. If you haven’t seen the awesome glimpse of Rockstar’s return to the wild west, watch it now. The trailer opens with numerous tranquil environmental shots of the picturesque frontier, mellowed by a soft, violin and piano-driven background music, which ends with a shot of an armed posse on horseback riding across the plains in the direction of snow-covered highlands.

The 1800s setting. In the shot of Worth’s General Store, you’ll see an electric light lining the muddy street. Its first use is in the United States in 1880. It’s also the relative period of many oil fields, which you can see in another shot in the trailer. This makes the set of Red Dead Redemption 2 before the events of the original that took place in 1911.

Rockstar graphic technology shines. We know Rockstar to be a master creator of some of the most stunning open-world games you can buy like Grand Theft Auto V and others. If you want to experience it first hand, check Harvey Norman’s PS4 games and play some Rockstar titles before you plunge into the Red series.

The most striking shot in the trailer is the campfire with a wonderful skybox of the Milky Way galaxy above. Hyped yet? You better be, cowboy! Heehaw!
